New Year's Eve

I have a countdown on my Iphone which currently states 11 hours, 13 minutes, and 36 seconds until midnight. I'm such a sucker for countdown's and ticker's and timer's, i once had a countdown for my kitten's birthday on my phone... i am fully aware that i am insane.

I've been doing alot of reflecting today. It's kind of like closure for me. I rid myself of worries, regrets and the like, with that kiss at midnight. Zebb does the same. Immediately after he announces 'Whatever happened last year, happened last year!' I think the exact same thing. I swear we were identical twins in another life. No, wait that sounds gross.

I just love that cleansing feeling. Like after you've just finished a hectic workout, or how you feel after a week of eating healthy. When that clock strikes twelve and that countdown hits zero, i will take a deep breath, and face this new year head on.
